thn i always think tat e leaders should concentrate more on their playing and skills..band is for u 2 train sound,not do admin stuff la..
if wana do admin stuff thn go office work beta sia..lol

last time we do hav a veri gd and nice warm sound la..u can see tat ppl from other bands is cuz they prac hard thn they can hav a gd sound,gd medal..
gd medal doesnt come so easy de.. the members effort r the most important ingredients..
and most importantly,one muz b humble...i only realize this whn i got in sws...cuz ppl in there r so pro,thn u will realize tat u're so tiny,so so so tiny...reali...ppl put in effort inside there..they can everyday prac.it all depends on yourself..
believe it or not...all this come from bottom of my heart...i reali thing tat u all are not puttin in enough effort.. u all can do beta..u want help,can approach seniors..mayb not those in sec4 la..cuz we having prelims and o lvl soon..perhaps u all can approach those who hav graduated..
pls la i beg u all,sectionals means sectionals..don chit chat,play ard,e time is for u to prac..cuz i tink @ home u all will do homework thn no time prac rite? pls cherish ur time to prac thn u will improve...or else u wanna stay a silver 4eva? or even hav a bronze.. if u expect sth and u do nth,make no effort thn ur expectations will nvr be realized..

One Band One Sound?!
The band had been in lots of politics nowsdays.. why the politics? why not just play the music because you love band?
We all started out by joining band. I dunno what reasons everyone had for joining band, but i think everyone love music? Everyone has a passion for band. Tt's why now we are here in the band...
Since when, the band had become like tt? why everyone had become like tt? ppl scolding ppl in blog. perhaps we should realli put a stop to it. no matter who tt person is, enough is enough.
I believe the moral is somehow affected by it...
there is no need to have such conflicts for small reasons.. perhaps everyone should reflect..cos it take 2 hands to clap.. no matter wat, SKY band is doing great and it can do better...

Hi everyone,

Firstly, my congrats to the 4 choosen NCOs ( Chi Yi, Miao Ying, Xin Li and Li Hua ). We believe that the 4 of you will lead the band to a greater height. Yesterdays's Cultural Night Rehersal was not so bad.. only the position of the band on stage make us felt abit unhappy.. the minute i turn my head it is soon going to be 2007 le, SYF year.. hope our band will get a good award under the baton of Mr Lun. (: so far, our band had been quite active- if you look back, here's the list of activities this year..
1. Band Camp -Musicians In Camp 6 to 8 June
2. Commando Institute Performance 6 July
3. School NDP Performance 8 August
to me all the 3 activities are successful.. also there are more up coming events on their way to band!
1. Band CIP- 1 Room Flat Visit 20 August
2. School Cultural Night @ Kallang.T 30 August
3. Hong Kong Trip 11 to 15 December
if there are no more activites, next after the Hong Kong Trip will be
4. SYF 2007 Central Judging of Concert Bands April 07

it seems to be still a long way but times indeed fly very fast.. so band, let us work hard to reach our goals!! =D

ytd was a job well done despite the fact tt we were treated unwanted..but like wat i told jialing..we must get used to it lor..cos we are not the main character afterall..
and for the blog tagging issue.. to tt whoever is using others name to tag ppl, or scolding vugularites in others tagboard... we are not affected by it... if u wanna use our names to tag others.. muhaha.. den u are wrong.. very wrong..cos the leaders are very close..closer than wat u can expect...we work well together too. and we communicate very often..we can exchange our info..for insistance tt bloody hell who used my name to go adeline blog to scold her.. u better watch out..cos everyone noe tt person is not me.. if u dare to tag, use ur own name den..if not..den dun tag
and for the somebody who have been tagging in the sky band blog... since u say the committe sux..point out to us where we sux..if we realli commit the mistakes..we will change.. however, u say we sux for the sake of saying..den i seriously think tt u are mentally unsound.. but if u were one of the committe, do u think u can lead the band as well as we are doing now? doubt so.. u noe who i am refering to..as i tink u are the person tagging the blog...

Also, I'm proud to announce that the Teachers(Mdm Yeo, Ms Loh, Mdm Dewi & Mr Tang), Conductors(Mr Lun & Mr Tan) & the Current BAND MAJOR(Desmond) & DRUM MAJOR(Adeline) had chosen the 4 NCOs. They are:
1) Choy Xin Li
2) Lee Miao Ying
3) Chan Chi Yi
4) Poh Li Hua

And 2 of the NCOs who will be attending the NCO Camp held at CCAB are:

Yoyo everyone, it is a tiring day for all of us today. Cultural night rehearsal ends around 8.30. Peeps, pls help the percussion to move their instruments when packing or getting ready, more ppl mean more hands and in turn it means jobs are done faster.
Just to summarize what madam sharifah had said.
1. Silence Mean Silence. No talking is allowed when we are on the stage
2. Pls take note of ur sitting posture. Dun sit like u are in the labour ward.

Yo guys, here to blog again.. the rehearsal today was well done.. but as u noe, the biggest room on earth is the room for improvement..so let’s work hard together for a better band.
My main point for today is the discipline for the band.
I know u guys have been getting scolding for the past few band practices. We ARE JUST trying to pull up the band standard and the discipline. I know, no one likes to be scolded, but if u nvr do anything wrong, ppl wun scold u for no reason right? We noe too, some people have been calling us names like what female dogs so on..and showing us attitude.. but we are not really bothered by it, cos we noe we are entitled to this task to bring the band up. However if u insists that u are right whereby we are in the wrong, I am sad to say point us our mistakes, we will improve on it… and guys, stop showing us attitude, is this how u should speak to ur seniors? Reflect on it…And dun think u have a post in the band and can show us attitude… think abt it..whose is in the wrong anyway.Seriously speaking, if the band is more discipline and more organized, I believe the scolding will be lesser.
